A home for culture in King County.

TaylorMade Soundz uplifts communities through culturally relevant arts, music and live experiences that celebrate creativity, connection and cultural excellence.

Our Story

From a grassroots idea to a cultural movement.

What began over a decade ago as a volunteer-led vision has grown into a recognized platform for cultural events and youth engagement across King County. The idea was simple: transform everyday spaces into places where people can experience culture, connection and creativity.

In 2019 that vision took shape as Soul Café, a monthly live music and spoken word series. Over five years it grew into more than 70 events, engaged over 150 artists and welcomed more than 8,000 attendees, alongside Soul Café on the Water and the Soul Café Awards.

Today TaylorMade Soundz is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in a pivotal growth phase, formalizing its systems, preparing to hire its first full-time staff and working toward a permanent, multi-level cultural arts facility that will serve the community for generations.
